BIA-MA Events & Activities

BIA-MA has professional staff that provide information, resources, support, and informal counseling to individuals with brain injuries, families, and professionals across the state. Each of our regions host support groups and events that provide survivors, family members and caregivers a fun and caring atmosphere where they find opportunities to socialize and make new friends with others who have shared similar experiences.

BIA-MA is Offering Virtual Support Groups

BIA-MA remains committed to its mission during this time of social distancing. We are making a temporary transition of our brain injury support groups to virtual settings. The need to connect is strong, especially for brain injury survivors who may already feel isolated.

Each virtual meeting will be facilitated by staff and a group leader using ZOOM video-conferencing. There is no cost to attend, and minimal information is requested from each attendee. You may participate using video or just the audio from your phone. Each meeting is hosted by an existing support group but is open to all.

BIA-MA is offering virtual support group meetings on the following dates. Please check this list regularly as we will be updating it frequently. To participate in a virtual support group, please send an email to with your name and the date/time of the group you wish to attend. We will respond individually with access codes and directions for specific groups.
