2015 Annual Golf Classic - Monday, June 22, 2015

Wrap Up

The Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts hosted the Annual Golf Classic fundraiser on Monday, June 22, 2015.  Twenty-eight foursomes teed off at The Haven Country Club, Boylston, MA after a warm welcome by Laura Herman, Golf Classic Chair and CEO of Insurance Marketing Agencies.  Throughout the day, the golfers were treated to the sights of the parkland-style golf course and the tastes from The Haven’s fabulous chef.  The day concluded with a silent auction, awards ceremony, and a touching speech by the father of a brain injury survivor and BIA-MA volunteer, Hunt Bergen.

Nicole Godaire, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts, was pleased to announce that “The Golf Classic was a great success.  The tournament raised over $50,000, which will go a long way to support BIA-MA’s mission of creating a better future for brain injury survivors.”

BIA-MA was able to host this event due to the generosity of all of our sponsors including our Platinum Sponsors:  Institutional Cash Distributors (ICD), NeuroRestorative, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Network.  Susan Tracy Moore, Senior Director of Case Management at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and tournament participant summed up the day with “Spaulding is honored to be part of this important event. A day of camaraderie and fun is always topped off with an inspiring story that helps us remember why we all do what we do.”
