Veterans

Brain injury is the "signature wound" of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. If you are experiencing some of the symptoms below, you may have sustained a brain injury.

 

Symptoms may include:

 

- Fatigue

- Memory problems

- Trouble problem solving

- Difficulty finding words

- Irritability

- Difficulty making decisions

- Inability to concentrate

- Personality changes

- Trouble organizing thoughts

- Easily confused

 

The Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts is participating in a veterans grant to provide outreach and assistance in identifying resources for veterans. As a private, nonprofit organization, BIA-MA can provide confidential support and information.
